Tactone
Design the perception of your soft robot.
The design of soft robots is currently aimed mainly at functionality. But aesthetics matter — the look, the touch and the sound of a soft robot all shape how users perceive and experience it.
So we created Tactone: a modular, multi-sensorial interactive pad that encourages designers to explore the haptics and sound of soft robotics. Four pads evoke emotion; wearing headphones, the designer touches a pad and feels the silicone inflate against their hands while the audio transforms based on coverage and duration. The modular layout lets designers swap pads to mix tactile and auditory experiences. So — are you ready to explore Tactone?
